1. Q: How many weddings do we have at one time?

A: One at a time. We can however have more than one wedding or reception per day.

 

2. Q: What is the maximum amount of people we can accommodate for a Wedding Reception or wedding ceremony?

A: Wedding Reception: 300-320 people with a 20x20 ft. dance floor.

A: Wedding Ceremony: From 5 to 300 people

 

3. Q: Can we bring in outside catering? 

A: No, There is no outside food, beverage, or alcohol allowed at the RHEC Facility or Golf Course

 

4. Q: Can we bring in our own outside vendors?

A: Yes, however as a convenience to our clients we have accumulated a preferred vendor list for potential options.

 

5. Q: Can I rent the clubhouse for public / private events? 

A: Yes, the clubhouse will be available for rental, both for public and private events. Call Mark Shelton (562) 806-5020 for information.

 

6. Q: What are the time frames for weddings? 

A: Afternoon- 10:00am to 3:00pm or Evening-5:00pm to 10:00pm, *6:00pm to 11:00pm, *7:00pm to 12:00pm.) *Additional fees will apply.

 

7. Q: Do you allow live music, bands, or DJ’s on the premises for an event? 

A: Yes, our special event’s coordinator will assist you with your requirements and arrangements.

 

8. Q: Rio Hondo Event Center wheelchair accessible/ADA compliant? 

A: Yes, both outdoor special events lawn and the event hall are wheelchair accessible and compliable with ADA (American with Disabilities Act) regulations.
